THINKING IS NOT BEING

As much as I would like to invest in an alliance;
I can't deviate from my present course, hence
There is so little time, there is so much to do.

If you demonstrate to me that this will be an affair
That proves a mutual benefit, then I won't care.
You can see for yourself that I have plans within
Plans, and that the production is already in motion.

Perhaps the tasks at hand will become the liaison
To facilitate us in meeting goals that are our own.
And then again, it could be that the winds that blew
Our paths across, see things. Now what about you?
