U.N. Calls For Farming Revolution:

A U.N. Sponsored Unesco Study is calling for urgent changed in the ways food is produced. The study recommends producing food locally, naturally, and ecologically. The reason is that the ways that food is produced now around the world may drive millions of our planetary population into poverty. This is from an article on Time.com - read more

These new production recommendations urge food production which will be less dependant on fossil fuels. The study also notes that emerging farming for the purpose of producing bio-fuels is having a tremendous impact on worl hunger and poverty.
